The Midnight Lobby Chooses Seville Home
Kansas City's new creative house from Jennifer Bertrand and Gabriel York will debut its first collections exclusively at Seville Home.
There's a new creative house in Kansas City, and we couldn't be more excited about where its first collections will live.
The Midnight Lobby Co., founded by Jennifer Bertrand and Gabriel York, has launched as a multidisciplinary practice working across residential and commercial interiors, hospitality, product design, brand creation, and experiential design. Bertrand first won national attention as the winner of HGTV's Design Star and appears today as the designer on Lifetime's Military Makeover. York's career spans design, brand, and luxury retail leadership at Anthropologie and Burberry, most recently launching Marble & Canvas at the Kansas City Art Institute.
When their first collections debut, they will debut here. The Midnight Lobby is developing an exclusive collection of occasional tables and home objects for Seville Home, translating the firm's refined and unexpected point of view into pieces you can bring home. Alongside the furniture comes The Midnight Lobby's signature home fragrance collection, available exclusively at Seville Home, with two original scents, Happy Hour and Last Call, offered as candles, room sprays, and a limited-edition boxed candle set.
As Bertrand puts it in the launch announcement:
"People may notice how a space looks first, but what stays with them is how it made them feel."
We share that belief. Home is where life is lived well, and the pieces that fill it should carry a story worth telling. The Midnight Lobby's collections are being made for exactly that kind of home.
The collections arrive later this year. Until then, follow The Midnight Lobby at midnightlobbyco.com, and we'll share a first look here in the Journal as the pieces come to life.
